I had “Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benetar pop into my head today. This video is awesome. Basically “Pat” runs away from home because of an argument with her pops (what was up with fathers in the 1980s anyway, am I right Cyndi Lauper?). Anyway, “Pat” hits the streets, and is driven to work in a modern-ish day brothel.
She can’t take the way the women are being treated there - she stands up for womens’ rights (“Heartache to heartache, we stand”) and shimmy fighting breaks out. Montage… montage… eye shadow.
This is a great 80s song and accompanying music video… I’m the back-up singer on the left, by the way.
Did I Step On Your Trumpet? ~ Danielson
I heart all over Danielson Family music videos!
I’m so happy that Seabear is visiting Boise - I’ve been listening to this Icelandic band for years, and get goosebumps every time!
Wednesday October 20th with Grandchildren at Neurolux.
This Mimicking Birds music video is taken from vintage time lapse science clips. I love it. Not sure I’ll think the same about eating a mushroom - they’re so beautiful in slo-mo!
Playing at Neurolux November 4th with A Seasonal Disguise. Hearts.

This is the new OK GO video for the song White Knuckles. It is cute. There are dogs. I think the Rube Goldberg video they made for This Too Shall Pass is way more awesome. But, again, the dogs are cute. I hope Korovieva gets a chance to watch it.
